7 months to go (212 days to be exact)

Does anyone else feel like time is flying by?

 The endless emails and alerts from websites and vendors allowing me to know how manys days, weeks, and seconds of course are realty shock for me each month. Ohh Emmm Geeee. Things are starting to become very exciting for us.

6-7 Months Before Your Wedding

Finalize the Guest List-DONE (umm ok mostly DONE)Reconsider your budget and your ideal guest list number. Discuss any final additions with your family. Make sure you consider how many children and "plus ones" will be invited (if at all..NO RING-NO BRING...do you not remember my Manola Blahnik speech rant). Determine the final number of invitations you will need.
 

• Tip: There will likely be discrepancies in opinions, and possibly tension here. Be prepared to deal with high emotions and do your best to keep cool. Read our tips on guest list special circumstances and how to deal with them. <----I had to laugh at this one...likley...ah ha hah  hah ha..try there WILL be. 

Invitations Time!

It's time to wrap up all the shopping for your wedding stationery. You will want to keep in mind your color scheme, the level of formality of the event, and your budget. You will most likely need: save the dates (optional), wedding invitations (with envelopes), thank you cards, and possible other personal stationery.  <----DONE 
 

Arrange Accommodations:

Out-of-town guests and local guests alike may wish to stay at a nearby hotel. Dresses:
Start looking for your wedding dress. Some dresses can take 4-5 months to make.-Done
Order Bridesmaid dresses.-Shipped today

Groom and Groomsmen:
Start looking for the groom and groomsman attire. <ugh>
Order groom and groomsmen attire. Take into consideration that linen suits are seasonal and may only be available to purchase in the spring. <double ugh>

Shop for wedding rings and jewelry for your big day. DONE

 

Well...I guess it's time to put those puppies in the mail already!! Invitation and DIY project filled weekend look out (ohhh don't you worry you are coming along this journey with me).Woohoo!!
